A summer vacation at Rockwood Resort on Georgian Bay near Parry Sound, Ontario was joyous. When our young family began vacationing there some 45 years ago Rockwood was a fishing camp. Fishing was excellent, the beach fine and the scenery beautiful but the accommodations were on the primitive side. This didn't bother us for we have gone back year after year. Now it is a fine family resort with modern conveniences making it a great place for our children and grand-children to spend time together fishing, talking, eating, swimming, snoozing and enjoying nature and being together.
